How much the Full Moon Party costs, where to pay, and why you should not buy entry tickets online.
Entry to the Full Moon Party costs 200 Thai baht (about 6 USD) per person. You pay it in cash at the gates to Haad Rin Beach on the night of the party. The money goes to cleaning and maintaining the beach. On the New Year party the price can be different, so keep some extra cash.
No. There are no official online entry tickets, you can only pay at the beach. If a website sells "Full Moon Party tickets" in advance, check what you are actually buying: usually it is a transfer (a boat and a car), sometimes a bar package, and sometimes nothing at all.
Our Full Moon Party transfer is exactly that: a transfer from your hotel on Koh Samui to Haad Rin and back. It does not include the 200 baht entry, and you do not pay online: booking is free and you pay in cash at the pier.
