Can I get back to Koh Samui after the Full Moon Party?
Yes. Regular ferries stop in the early evening, but speedboats go back from Haad Rin pier to Koh Samui every hour from 0:00 to 6:00. You do not need to choose the time in advance: come to the pier whenever you are ready, show your ticket badge and take the next boat. On Koh Samui you are put on the transfer list and a minivan takes you back to your hotel.
Where does the speedboat leave from and how long is the ride?
From Bangrak pier (Big Buddha area) on Koh Samui. The ride to Haad Rin pier on Koh Phangan takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the sea. The party is a few minutes walk from the pier.
Do I need to pay online?
No. You book online for free and pay in cash (Thai baht) at the pier on the day of the party. At the pier you get your ticket badge and wait for your boat in the seating area.
What if my plans change?
There is no prepayment, so there is nothing to refund. Just let us know through the contact form so we do not wait for you at your hotel.
Which areas of Koh Samui do you pick up from?
From all areas of Koh Samui: Chaweng, Lamai, Bophut, Maenam, Bangrak, Choeng Mon, Nathon and others. Choose a pickup time in the booking form; the driver collects you from your hotel or villa lobby.
Is the speedboat safe?
Every passenger gets a life jacket. The speedboats have two or three engines and take 25 to 65 passengers; bigger boats go in the high season, when there are more guests.
How does the return trip work?
Boats leave Haad Rin pier every hour from 0:00 to 6:00. Guests come to the pier at any time, wait together and board the next boat with their ticket badge. On Koh Samui the minivan takes you back to your hotel. With a one way ticket you arrange the way back yourself.
